Would Rav Moshe Permit? Be Wary

Regarding this post

I was reading a book about a certain contemporary Rav who was very active in interreligious dialogue. He was aware of the fact that Rav Moshe forbade it but he explained that Rav Moshe was referring to individuals and not to someone who was representing the Chief Rabbinate. In his case Rav Moshe would permit.

THAT is, as they say in the modern parlance - בלבולי שכל ממדריגה ראשונה. A person can only say such a thing when he has personal negiyos and interests to make it permitted. Sorry.

If he wants to argue and say that it is permitted - fine [even though he doesn't come close to Rav Moshe in Torah understanding as anyone who learns their sefarim can see]. But don't twist Rav Moshe's words.

Another point - in our history we have a looooooong cheshbon with Christians. For two thousand years we have suffered abuse at their hands. I HOPE that their professed love for Yisrael and Am Yisrael is sincere [I sense that for many it is] but we have to be very wary.
