Amukah

There is a "custom" to go to the grave of Yonason Ben Uziel as a segulah to find a spouse on Tu B'av.

To date, no source has been found. I once read that the custom began in ... 1953 [!!].

So how about this - one can stay home, daven there and the money he or she would have spent on transportation can be given to poor families.

ציון במשפט תפדה ושביה בצדקה.

Tzdaka [and tefillah] brings the geulah and many other great things in its wake. There are so many who are needy and so many who have extra.

One is always safest with the tried and true "segulos" that come directly from the mouth of Hashem כביכול.

But alas, many people don't like such suggestions. People have trouble just giving "their" money away and people are looking for funky things to do.

May all of the lonely single people find their soul mates and may all of the miserable married people reconnect with their soul mates. It is not clear who suffers more....
