Are They All Bad?

Rav Yaakov Horowitz ztz"l, the Rosh Yeshiva of Ofakim, related that when Rav Yitzchak Hutner ztz"l received a booklet from the Israeli Chief Rabbinate with the seder for Yom Ha-atzmaut, he called Rav Aharon Kotler ztz"l and related that he has a problem. He doesn't know the tune for Hatikvah. Rav Aharon answered that they should call the Satmer Rebbe and he will teach them the tune....

[So we see that gedolim have a sense of humor...].

There has been a lot of criticism of Satmar over the Internet recently [and not recently]. I am not a chossid of Satmar and agree with much of the criticism. But I really believe that instead of expending time and energy on useless criticism [they are not looking at the Internet and if they do see it, their mind will not be changed], instead why don't people learn from Satmar and go through hospitals visiting the sick and providing them and their visitors with free food. They can also learn from Satmar and get busy raising large families, teaching them our traditions in a pure way and producing talmidei chachomim and Bnos Yisrael who are moser nefesh to serve Hashem....

Again - they are not perfect. But we should focus on light and not darkness.
