Nauseating - Crazy World

A recent article documents the practice that is gaining popularity that men go to mikva when their wives do [with a bracha of course - and other customs they made up. It makes them feel "so spiritual". People live in a dream world where spirituality really means "makes me feel good"].

Until now we have had to deal with women who want to be men - now we have men who want to be women.

Sickening.

Last year a girl who was in Israel for the year told a boy I know that she will raise her children without a gender and let them choose for themselves. She had good enough grades to be accepted to an Ivy League school [where she is presently a student] but is willing to guarantee that her children will be messed up for life.

I read another article by an 18 year old [Jewish maybe even "religious"] girl who was really excited about podcasts on private topics that break down almost all barriers tzniyus [I didn't hear them but others did] . I wanted to email her and ask - "How can an 18 year old freshman in college decide herself if such a development is positive. You understand so much about life and religion already? How much is your opinion worth? Did you ask an adult who knows something first before writing and publicizing your learned" essay?" I refrained from sending because I don't want to hurt the young misguided girl's feelings.

We live in this crazy age where almost everybody who has access to a keyboard feels qualified to spread their ignorance to the world often under the guise of intelligent thought.

Another article where an open orthodox rabbi compares the Chashmonaeem to ... I can't even say what. עפ"ל.

Better spend your time learning mishnayos sweet friends.....:-).
