Holy Links/ How Much Do We Pursue Tzedaka And Chesed?

You can hear the original on kolhalashon.

Anybody who wants the merit of zikui ha-rabim can translate it into English and thousands will read it.

[The Chazon Ish taught that one should never ask for favors if he can avoid it because people for  the most part aren't so willing to do them at all or to do them as necessary. My own life experience has taught me that this is overwhelmingly true. I know very few people excited or even willing to consistently trouble themselves [financially or otherwise] on behalf of others. I have a small list of exceptions. But I ask anyway in the hope that an exception will step forward.

May we all merit to love and care for each other as much [or at least almost as much] as we do for ourselves. The geula will come when people are able to rise above their phones, emails and personal business and feel the other as him or her self.

Bi-ahava rabba and a lichtigin Chanuka,
Me:-)
