A Giant Mental Hospital

Please forgive me.

I talk to and deal with many people. I feel like this planet is a giant mental hospital where just about everybody suffers from a variety of emotional ailments and disabilities. Whether it is addictions [alcohol, Internet immodesty, drugs, smoking, gambling etc. etc.], anxiety, depression, social disabilities, fears etc. etc. the list goes on ad infinitum.

The absolutely mooooost distressing part of the whole thing is that the overwhelming majority of most of the "patients" [i.e. inhabitants of the planet] is that they don't know that they are ill.

For the sake of you, me and the good of mankind - find out where you are emotionally deficient and start making changes TODAY. People might well suffer from you [your wife, husband, (not both though), parents, children, co-workers, roommates etc.] and you are most definitely suffering from others. Ask a person close to you [or paid by you] who is attuned to emotions and their infinite dysfunctions and find out what you should be fixing. What is no less important is to find out where you excel and why your feelings of inadequacy and insecurity are so inaccurate.

Denial. The most prevalent of all human diseases. The number one obstacle to growth and change. Timche es zecher denial mi-tachas hashomayim. Better find out in this world what is wrong while you can still change and not there in the next world where it is too late.

If you believe you can mess up, proclaimed "Rabbeinu", believe that you can fix.
