לחזות בנועם השם

כאשר זכה שכל האדם לראות אמיתת מציאותו יתברך, מיד נכנס בו שמחת גיל אין קץ, ונשמתו נעימה עליו, והדמיון משלים עם השכל לחזות בנועם ה' , וכל תענוגי בשרים חמקו עברו, ונפשו העדינה מתעטפת בקדושה וכאילו פירשה מגוף העכור ומשוממת בשמי שמים. ובהעלות האדם בערכי קדש אלו נגלה לפניו עולם חדש, כי אפשר לאדם בעולם הזה להיות כמלאך לרגעים, וליהנות מזיו הקדש, וכל תענוגי עולם הזה כאפס נגד עונג של דביקות האדם ליוצרו יתברך. הכח הטמיר הלזה הוא אחד מכחות הטמירים שנתן היוצר בנשמת האדם, וכח זה מעיד על קשר הגבר ליוצר כל היצורים, ואשר נברא לעבוד את בוראו ולדבקה בו

When the intellect of a person merits seeing the truth of G-d, immediately he is filled with infinite joy, and his soul is pleasant within him, and his imagination complements his intellect in seeing the pleasure of G-d, and all physical pleasures disappear, and his gentle soul is enwrapped in holiness as if it separated from its coarse body and is elevated to the heavens. When such a holy feeling comes upon a person a new world is revealed before him, he sees that it is possible for a person to be like an angel for a few moments, and to enjoy the Holy Light, and all pleasures of this world are like nothing compared to the pleasure of clinging to Hashem. This hidden power is one the the hidden powers that G-d gave to the soul of a person, and this power testifies to the connection of a human being with the Creator of All, and that he was created to serve and cling to G-d.
