A Tzaddik's Diet

Approximately 100 year old tzaddik and gadol Rav Aharon Leib Shteinman's daily menu [not including Shabbos]:

Breakfast: Bread crumbs and milk. Two or three spoonfuls of white cheese. One slice [!!] of an apple or pear. Two cups of water.

Lunch: One piece of fish and a vegetable.

Dinner: Like breakfast and if there is no fruit available then applesauce.

He has not drunk tea or coffee for a long time. 50 years ago was the last time he had a piece of cake. Professor Eliyahu Sorkin of Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv convinced Rav Aharon Leib to add an egg to his daily menu.

I was once at his house. Let us say that simple would be an understatement.

So what does he live on, Tyere Yidden??

TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):)
